Nota Pilihan raya negeri Sabah 2020

  1. Keputusan Pilihan raya umum Malaysia 2018 menyaksikan Barisan Nasional mempunyai 29 kerusi (UMNO (17), UPKO (5), PBS (6), PBRS (1)), Pakatan Harapan mempunyai 8 kerusi (DAP (6), PKR (2)), Warisan mempunyai 21 kerusi, dan STAR mempunyai 2 kerusi. BN dan STAR pada mulanya telah berjaya membentuk kerajaan dengan 31 kerusi, berbanding Warisan dan PH 29 kerusi. Walau bagaimanapun, UPKO telah menyertai Warisan menjadikan Warisan, UPKO dan PH membentuk kerajaan dengan 34 kerusi berbanding BN dan STAR 27 kerusi.
  2. Selepas Pilihan raya umum Malaysia 2018 menyaksikan beberapa perubahan kedudukan disebabkan pertukaran kerajaan peringkat Persekutuan. Barisan Nasional lumpuh selepas semua parti kecuali UMNO keluar gabungan. UPKO menyokong Warisan, manakala Warisan bekerjasama dengan Pakatan Harapan bagi membentuk kerajaan negeri. Sebilangan wakil rakyat UMNO keluar parti dan menubuhkan Bersatu dan bersama kerajaan negeri. PBS, PBRS dan UMNO pula bersama-sama STAR membentuk gabungan pembangkang bernama Gabungan Bersatu Sabah (GBS). Di pihak kerajaan negeri, Warisan mempunyai 31 kerusi, Pakatan Harapan mempunyai 8 kerusi (DAP (6), PKR (2)), UPKO (4) dan Bersatu (9). Di pihak pembangkang pula, PBS (4), STAR (2), PBRS (1) dan UMNO (1).
  3. Pasca kemelut politik Malaysia 2020 menyaksikan beberapa perubahan kedudukan politik. Bersatu telah keluar daripada Pakatan Harapan. Setakat 15 Jun 2020, Warisan mempunyai 33 kerusi, DAP (tujuh), UPKO (2), PKR (2), Bersatu (9), PBS (4), STAR (2), UMNO (1) dan Bebas (2). Tidak termasuk 4 orang ADUN Lantikan, pihak kerajaan negeri kini mempunyai 41 kerusi iaitu Warisan mempunyai 31 kerusi, Pakatan Harapan mempunyai 8 kerusi (DAP (6), PKR (2)) dan UPKO (2). Di pihak pembangkang pula mempunyai 19 kerusi iaitu Bersatu mempunyai 9 kerusi. PBS (4), STAR (2), PBRS (1), UMNO (1) dan Bebas (2)
  4. Bolkiah Ismail bertanding di pilihan raya negeri sebagai calon Barisan Nasional (UMNO), switching allegiance to WARISAN on 13 May 2018.
  5. Julita Majunki contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, after which his party decided to leave BN on 12 May 2018.
  6. Anita Baranting contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, after which her party decided to leave BN on 12 May 2018, switching allegiance to WARISAN on 6 March 2019.
  7. Musbah Jamli contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, switching allegiance to WARISAN on 25 January 2019.
  8. Ewon Benedick contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate, after which he become one of the six members of the UPKO in forming an alliance with WARISAN on 12 May 2018.
  9. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 UMNO Sabah joined Gabungan Bersatu Sabah on 14 August 2018 but remained with Barisan Nasional at federal level.
  10. Jahid Jahim contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, his party decide to leaving BN on 12 May 2018.
  11. Hajiji Noor contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, after which he switched to PPBM on 15 March 2019.
  12. Joniston Bangkuai contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, his party decide to leaving BN on 12 May 2018.
  13. Limus Jury contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate, he as one of the six members of the party decide to form an alliance with WARISAN on 13 May 2018.
  14. Joachim Gunsalam contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, his party decide to leaving BN on 12 May 2018.
  15. Masidi Manjun contested the state election as a Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, after which he switched to PPBM on 15 March 2019.
  16. Abidin Madingkir contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate, he as one of the six members of the party decide to form an alliance with WARISAN on 12 May 2018.
  17. Jamawi Jaafar contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, switch allegiance to WARISAN on 12 May 2018.
  18. Ellron Angin contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (PBRS) candidate, his party decide to leaving BN on 12 May 2018.
  19. Bobbey Ah Fang Suan contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate. It is known at the first that he is the only UPKO member that refused to seal an alliance with WARISAN as been did by six other members of his party. However, following the assembly oath on 12 June 2018, it is reported that every DUN members are representing their respective parties.
  20. James Ratib contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, he as one of the six members of the party decide to form an alliance with WARISAN on 13 May 2018.
  21. Abd. Rahman Kongkawang contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (PBS) candidate, his party decide to leaving BN on 12 May 2018.
  22. Masiung Banah contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate, he as one of the six members of the party decide to form an alliance with WARISAN on 13 May 2018. He left UPKO on 24 November 2018 to become independent.
  23. Saddi Abdul Rahman contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, left the party on 1 August 2018 and switch allegiance to WARISAN on 10 December 2018.
  24. Osman Jamal contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, expressing intention to switch allegiance to People's Justice Party (PKR) but his request are not accepted by the party leadership. He then switch to WARISAN on 4 March 2019.
  25. Hamisah Samat contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, switch allegiance to WARISAN on 12 May 2018.
  26. Abd. Muis Picho contested the state election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UMNO) candidate, switch allegiance to WARISAN on 12 May 2018.
  27. Wilfred Madius Tangau contested the parliamentary election as a direct Barisan Nasional (UPKO) candidate for Tuaran, he as one of the six members of the party decide to form an alliance with WARISAN on 12 May 2018, and was made a nominated member of the State Legislative Assembly on 16 May 2018.
  28. Loretto Padua Jr. was made a nominated member of the State Legislative Assembly on 11 June 2018.
  29. Terrence Siambun represented Moyog in the previous Assembly but not contested in the recent state election. Terrence was made a nominated member of the State Legislative Assembly on 11 June 2018.
  30. Jaffari Waliam was not a candidate in the recent state election but co-operated with WARISAN candidate for Gum-Gum while in the 2013 state election he was the Sabah PKR election director. Jaffari was made a nominated member of the State Legislative Assembly on 20 September 2018.
  31. Ahli Parlimen Sandakan, Datuk Stephen Wong Tien Fatt (DAP) yang dilantik sebagai ADUN telah meninggal dunia akibat serangan jantung. Rujuk, Mohd Izham Unnip Abdullah (28 Mac 2019). "Menteri Kesihatan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat Sabah meninggal". Berita Harian. Dicapai pada 21 Jun 2020.
